We launched 'Odd' in early 2003, with a small range of products that we had designed and made for us. The products included a number of pieces of garden furniture, a range of our own fabrics, some clothes made in our fabrics, bags in our canvases, and some accessories.

The core product, from the beginning, was a fully upholstered 'swinging garden sofa'. We called this Odd's 'Old Rocker'. Its design was based on a 1930's upholstered 'swing seat' that, fortunately for me and not my brother, I had inherited from my great aunt Trix. We all loved it like an old friend and summer did not begin until it had been put up in the garden.

Since 2003, we have developed the design of our 'Old Rocker' and improved the specification, particularly by now making the frame from which the sofa hangs entirely of stainless steel, eliminating rust and the need for painting.

We have dyed our own water and rot resistant canvas in several colours and offer lots of options on the shape of the sofa, on the style of the roof, on the choice of fabrics that can be used, and on the range of accessories that we make to compliment the Rocker.

Our range now includes lots of new products, such as our new sofa shape, the Kune Kune, a new range of flat weave tribal rugs from Africa and South America.
Hand made sketchbooks and notebooks, glasses, boxes and baskets made of galvanised wire mesh and we have designed new fabrics and accessories.

This page shows a selection of what we make. If you would like to place an order then do ring us. We make our 'Old Rocker' in Oxfordshire and, ideally, you should try to see one and sit on it, to appreciate how well it is made, to feel how amazingly comfortable it is and to see all the options.
