Cool Place Award WinnerFifteen’s purpose is two-fold: firstly to offer young people, often in need of a break in life, the experience of learning to work in the restaurant business and secondly, for our customers to enjoy fantastic food and knowledgeable customer service.

The profits from the restaurant are set aside to fund Fifteen’s charitable activities, the main one being the chef apprenticeship scheme for 18-24 year olds.

Now in its eighth year of operation, the London business has expanded with the addition of Fifteen Amsterdam, Cornwall and Melbourne.

Fifteen is rated as one of the top 100 UK restaurants. It is top diner-rated on leading bookings website toptable.co.uk thanks to consistently good reviews by our visitors. Our head chef, Andrew Parkinson, and six graduates from previous years joined Jamie Oliver at No 10 in April 2009 to cook for the world leaders attending the G20 summit.

Fifteen’s 12-month apprenticeship scheme is unique in that actively recruits hard-to-reach young people and offers them the chance to train as highly skilled and qualified chefs. The apprentices spend 30% of their time at Lewisham College studying for their NVQ2 qualifications while 50% of their time is spent in the restaurants gaining on the job experience under the supervision of our 23 professional chefs. The rest of their time includes welfare support, visits to our suppliers and other experiences like work placements and butchery and fishmongery. In London alone, Fifteen has recruited 141 young people and seen more than 82 apprentices graduate. Many of them are now working full time in some of the world's best restaurants.

We are committed to sourcing seasonal, high quality ingredients from the best suppliers throughout the UK and Italy. What this means is fresh seasonal menus on a daily basis overseen by a team of 23 professional chefs dedicated to producing the very best Italian food.

Fifteen Trattoria
As the name implies, the restaurant is heavily influenced by Italian food and wine. It is considered a more informal restaurant space than the Fifteen Dining Room. By informal we mean friendly service, a lively atmosphere and doing what we do best…that is producing Italian classics, changing on a daily basis, with a suitably matched Italian wine list. In terms of food – our signature dishes include antipasti, freshly-made pasta dishes such as saffron risotto with seafood and Buccleuch beef with horseradish.

Fifteen Dining Room
The Fifteen Dining Room is the original home of the Fifteen experience. More formal than the Trattoria in design with a striking pink carpet, the Dining Room has a more elegant and intimate feel than the Trattoria. The service, style of food and the extensive global wine list showcase the finest Italian food, all freshly prepared and served by our professional chefs and apprentices. Like the Trattoria, all menus change on a daily basis to ensure the best seasonal produce from the UK and Italy.
