This is a fabulous book, we loved Jo’s previous book, In the Mood for Food, she has a very easy style and we really enjoy the way she narrates each chapter, you feel that you have been invited to cook alongside her. Her recipes are mouth wateringly gorgeous, well explained, ranging from the simple to the more ambitious. We loved her St. Clement’s Drizzle Cake, and the Very Indulgent Cupcakes and our junior reviewers can’t wait for us to make the Maple and Cinnamon Kisses. With Father’s Day rapidly approaching we know the Pork, Stilton and Port Pies will be a huge success followed by the Whisky Bread-and-Butter Pudding which should ensure ownership of the remote control will be relinquished for one evening at least !
